Emperor Frederick the Fashionable is always dressed beautifully. In fact, it’s the law that he should have an amazing new set of clothes every day. But the unthinkable has happened – there are no new outfits! Many people think they have what it takes to be the empire’s new Chief Designer, but two outsiders promise an outfit "like you've never seen before". Everything is thrown into confusion as these charismatic strangers weave their spell, but if you think you know exactly how this story ends, you're in for a surprise.
