The new musical drama SOVIET ZION tells the story of two families who each move to Siberia, participating in the real-life movement that sought to create there a Yiddish-speaking, Socialist utopia. ​

 

Challenged by the unexpected realities they face, great sacrifice must be made to achieve the freedom they seek.

 

Set against a grand historical backdrop, the stories of their intertwining lives explore questions of identity, integrity, nationhood and belonging.
