In the year 2366, Data the android is presenting his campy musical adaptation of The Wrath of Khan. In his retelling, an older Captain Kirk is experiencing a “coming of middle age” story when his evil nemesis Khan escapes exile and vows revenge. Data hams it up, playing multiple roles in the show. Kirk and Khan’s game of cat-and-mouse sparks an adventure that includes Vulcan tap dancing, Kirk’s long-lost son (a William Shatner impersonator), and of course… mutant space chickens! Kirk saves the day, Khan goes out in a blaze of glory, and Data learns a few things about life.
