After witnessing the suicide of her husband Judas, Hannah Iscariot returns to the life of guerilla resistance practiced before their experiment following the Jewish peace prophet Jesus of Nazareth. Ten years after returning to her zealot life, when she happens upon a sect of her fellow followers who continued to practice the ways of their former rabbi, she must choose between her identity as a freedom fighter and reconnecting with the mysterious promise of everlasting peace and love she had once thought to be lost forever.
